Celebrate the New Year with accordions! Two of the Bay Area’s most accomplished accordionists bring their groups to the Red Poppy for a special double-header evening.
THE BAGUETTE QUARTETTE is a Bay Area group that plays the music heard on the street corners and in the cafés and dance halls of Paris in the ’20 and ’30s. Led by accordionist Odile Lavault, its repertoire consists of valses musettes, tangos, marches, pasos dobles, and fox trots.

Rob Reich, front man of the ROB REICH TRIO, is an acclaimed, Bay Area-based accordionist, pianist, and composer. A talented instrumentalist and inventive composer, Rob is steeped in many traditions. In addition to being a versatile solo performer, Rob can be heard freelancing with a variety of Bay Area bands, as well as performing as a member with Tin Hat, Gaucho and The Nice Guy Trio.
